Nebraska is set to take on Penn State Saturday night in a game that has a much different feel than it did in the preseason. The Nittany Lions began the year ranked second in the country and seemed to be the Big Ten’s strongest national title threat. Fast forward three months and PSU is playing under an interim head coach and just earned its first conference win of the season last week against Michigan State. But despite the turmoil and six-game losing streak, the group seems to be playing its best football of the season in recent weeks. Two weeks ago, they took second ranked Indiana to the wire and last week buried the Spartans in the fourth quarter. This is still a team with elite talent (there is a reason Penn State opened as 10.5 point favorites against NU) and the Huskers will have its work cut out for them if they are going to pull off the upset under the lights in State College.
