We are excited to for the first big Husker event in Seattle since UW joined the Big Ten. Here is everything you need to know if you are planning to attend the 7:30 p.m. match on Saturday.
Pregame Party
We encourage folks to join us at Big Time Brewery & Alehouse near the UW Campus. This family friendly taproom and eatery is a 5-10 minute drive to the arena’s parking area or a 15-20 minute walk to the arena itself. We’ll have a presence there starting at 3:00 p.m. Door prizes from the NAA will be available.
The address is 4133 University Way Northeast, Seattle, 98105
Parking
Match-day parking is available at the E18 parking lot northeast of the arena. Disabled parking is available at the E17 lot just southwest of the arena. All parking is $12 and payments can be made through the Pay-By-Phone App or via credit card at the pay station kiosk near the Husky track or at the E17 lot. Cash is not accepted.
Find more parking and gameday information here.
Husky Party on the Plaza
The Husky marching band will be playing for fans during the Husky Party on the Plaza located at the southwest entrance of the arena. This event starts at 6:00 p.m. and would be a good place for Nebraska fans with GA tickets to locate each other before doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Entrance to Alaska Airlines Arena
The Alaska Airlines Arena doors will open at 6:30 p.m., one hour before the start of the match. We encourage those of you with GA tickets to be ready to enter the arena by them if you would like a good seat. This is a huge match for UW and they have been promoting attendance hard. So get in as early as you can and find a pocket of red to join.
UW has a clear bag policy, which you can learn more about here.
If you have any questions about the day’s Husker related events, contact our communications chair Quinten Lyon. If you have questions regarding UW gameday information or ticket sales, please direct your questions to the UW Athletic Department.
We are excited to see you at the match…
